"The Response" in New York State

There have been a large number of screenings of "The Response" in New York State, both in New York City as well as upstate, that have included discussion panels with members of the film team and specialists in the applicable law. In addition, screenings of "The Response" were conducted in June, 2010, in New York State, in conjunction with Amnesty International's Counter Terror with Justice Campaign.

Now, "The Response" is scheduled to be screened at the International Humanitarian Law Dialogs at the Chautauqua Institution in upstate New York on August 28, 2011! See our International Humanitarian Law Dialogs event page for full details!

"The Response" was screened for the NYC Bar Association on October 4, 2010.

"The Response" was screened for the U.N. Peace Operations & Law Symposium held in New York City on July 8, 2010.

"The Response" has screened at the following schools in New York City:

Fordham Law School - March 9, 2010
Columbia University Law School - January 20, 2010
New York City - October 27, 2009.

Other screenings of "The Response" took place in New York City on October 13, 2009 and October 27, 2009.

"The Response" was also screened private homes in conjunction with Amnesty International's "Torture Awareness Month" during June 2010.

Newark Valley

June 2010 - "The Response" screening scheduled at Newark Valley United Church of Christ in conjunction with Amnesty International's "Torture Awareness Month."

Syracuse

A screening of "The Response" and panel discussion took place at Syracuse University on September 30, 2010.

West Point

"The Response" screened at the U.S. Military Academy at West Point on March 23, 2010.
